Women’s Rites of Passage

A rite of passage is a powerful ceremony marking the movement from one phase of life to another. Women can boldly move forward knowing the ground on which they walk is charged with an ancient blessing of our foremothers who also used ritual to mark life’s passages.

Each event will be co-created so that you may count on an experience that holds the qualities and customs you wish to draw forth.

Blessingway ~

This wonderful ritual welcomes a woman into motherhood (or motherhood again!). Gathering her friends close, both she and her baby will be honored and a path of post-delivery support will be created.

Can include:

altar to honor mother and baby
candles for each participant
pillow, pouch or such for blessings to keep
shared stories
belly cast

Menarch Ritual (1st menses) ~

This co-created ritual provides a beautiful, supportive space to introduce daughters to their monthly cycle.

Rituals can include:

altar (group of things that inspire her)

candles to “light her way”

shared personal stories
belly dance lesson
feast of red foods!

Rituals Affirming the Female Journey ~

Women who are moving into their Wisdom years will be celebrated and supported by their community or individually through this ritual.

Can include:

stories shared
alter
garland ceremony
drumming

Fee includes preparation before, time spent during and a follow up to the ritual. $250 for up to 5 people. Each additional person $10. Fees negotiated at time of consultation.
